Pork Wasabi Tacos Recipe, Enjoy your meal!!!!

Do you want to add an Asian flavor to your tacos creations while enjoying the beach in Rocky Point?

You will need:

  1. 1 1/2 lbs pork tenderloin, cut in 1 inch pieces
  2. 1/3 cup hoisin sauce
  3. 6 flour tortillas
  4. 1 to 2 tsp prepared wasabi paste
  5. tbsp water
  6. tbsp vegetable oil
  7. 1/2 tsp white wine vinegar
  8. 1/2 tsp sugar
  9. 1/4 of a head napa cabbage, shredded
  10. 2 carrots shredded
  11. 1/2 of an English cucumber, thinly sliced
Thread pork on skewers. Brust with hoisin sauce. For charcoal frill, cook pork on rack of uncovered grill directly over medium coals for 12 to 14 minutes or until no pink remains (160 degrees F), turning once. Add tours for the las 1 minute of grilling time, turning onece to heat through. (For gas grill, preheat. Reduce heat to medium. Place port over heat. Cover and grill as above)

Meanwhile, for wasabi oil, in small bowl combine wasabi paste, water, oil, vinegar and sugar. Whisk to combine.

Serve pork and vegetables in tortillas. Drizzle with wasabi oil. Serve immediately. Makes 6 tacos.

* Soak skewers 30 minutes before using.

Tips for bringing out the best in tortillas: At many of the best taco stands, tortillas are heated on the grill to soften and give them a slight toasty flavor. To get the same effect at home, preheat a skillet over medium- low heat. Place a tortilla in the skillet. Toast for 10-20 seconds. With tongs or fork, flip and toast 10-20 seconds more or until hot and beginning to turn golden. Cover and keep warm while toasting remaining tortillas.

By the way... I am never too busy for your referrals...
